Communication with monasteries – Skeetes
After we determine our route plan, is now the time to find accommodation in the monastery or skeetes. 
In recent years the telephone communication with the monasteries can be difficult or impossible sometimes, so we prefer to send a fax. 
On the fax document we wright our name, occupation, phone number and the preferred dates we want to stay and then we expect a positive or negative response. 
The answer may be delayed for a week or more. 
Most skeetes don't have a fax machine and is more likely than someone respond to our telephone call. 
Also each monastery - skeet has different hours than we can contact them or send them a fax. 
Some have a recorded message that says these hours but in others we need to do try again and again in order obtain communication. The best hour to do so, is either early in the morning or late in the afternoon. 
Now a days there are some monesteries that provide communication via e-mail, and I thing this is the best way.
